Leroy!

Okay, this takes a bit of explaining...

Us girls are getting ready to host a programmed open dorm, and this year's theme is County Fair. So a few of us went to see what we could find at Salvation Army for decorations, game supplies, and prizes. We found everything we were looking for, but still needed something special, memorable even, the crowning piece that would have all our guests in awe.
And there he was-- Leroy. This five foot lion was sitting all by him self in an old, rusty crib, waitin for the girls of Houghton 8 west to come and adopt him.


I was the lucky chosen one who got to carry him all the way home. With a few sideways glances and lots of outright laughs from fellow bus-riders, we all made it home in one piece.






Leroy is now our floor mascot and we're not so sure we want to give him up as a prize at the fair as we originally intended...
